2018: HYSUN established

In 2018, fueled by the promising market prospects of new energy electric vehicles, HYSUN was established. With a vision to contribute to the development of sustainable transportation, we formed a dedicated research and development team consisting of two software engineers, two hardware engineers, and two structural engineers.

2019: Portable EV Charger launched

In the first half of 2019, we achieved a significant milestone by introducing portable charging stations compliant with the European standard TUV testing requirements, offering power outputs of 3.5KW and 7KW. This breakthrough allowed electric vehicle owners to conveniently recharge their vehicles wherever they went. In the second half of the year, we expanded our product range to include portable charging stations meeting the American standard ETL testing requirements.

2020: Home using Wallbox EV Charger (TUV Standard) launched

Building on the success of our portable charging stations, in 2020, we proudly unveiled our home wall-mounted charging stations. These charging stations, compliant with the European standard TUV testing requirements, offered power outputs of 7KW, 11KW, and 22KW. This development aimed to address the growing demand for residential charging solutions and make home charging more accessible for electric vehicle owners.

 2021: Home using Wallbox EV Charger (ETL Standard) launched

Continuing our commitment to innovation and meeting the needs of the market, in 2021, we launched a range of home wall-mounted charging stations meeting the American standard ETL testing requirements. These charging stations, offering power outputs of 7KW, 9KW, and 11KW, provided a reliable and efficient charging solution for electric vehicle owners in the United States.

2022: Public using Wallbox EV Charger launched

In 2022, we made significant strides in the commercial charging sector. We introduced commercial charging stations adhering to European and American standards and equipped with the OCPP 1.6 protocol. This integration enabled seamless connectivity and interoperability with third-party operation platforms, empowering businesses and organizations to efficiently manage and operate their charging infrastructure.

2023: Developing bi-directional EV Charger and OCPP 2.0 protocol EV Charger

Embracing the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology, 2023 marked a pivotal year for us. We embarked on the development of bidirectional charging stations, allowing electric vehicles to not only draw power but also supply power back to the grid. Additionally, we focused on creating charging stations compatible with the OCPP 2.0 protocol, ensuring our products remained at the forefront of industry standards and facilitating enhanced communication and functionality between charging stations and electric vehicles.
